Sandile Sokhela is a Principal, Founder and CEO at Crede. Prior to establishing Crede, Sandile was a Shareholder, Executive Director, Principal and an Investment Committee member at Inspired Evolution Investment Management. Inspired Evolution was the Manager of the USD$100MIL Evolution One Fund that attracted the funds raised from DFIs which included the likes of IDC, IFC, Norfund, SIFEM, GEEREF and the Afdb. Prior to joining Inspired Evolution, Sandile spent two years at Afena Capital as Head of Institutional Business responsible for growing assets under management. Over his two-year tenure as head of the Institutional Business, Afena raised over R10 billion in funds under management. Prior to joining Afena Capital, Sandile spent 8 years at Investec Asset Management where he worked on various roles.

Zingile's has served as an MP, Chairperson of the Finance Joint Standing Committee and MEC for Finance in the Free State and later the Secretary to Parliament. The Parliament leadership position provided him with international, continental and regional forums and offices where he could add value to the "bussiness" of running parliaments internationally.


He has private sector experience as a non-executive director for several companies and currently serves as managing director of Dynamic bussiness services and director of Lerostyle. He has also for some time served as a visiting professor to the University of Free State business school.


His formal qualifications include a STD, BA, MBA degree (specialization in Entrepeneurship) and a Fellow of the Economic Policy Institute of New York.

In 2021 was appointed to lead the first international branch of the company in Africa and establish the South African office in Johannesburg.

Maureen is an Administrator at Crede. As an Administrator at Crede, she manages the operations and administration responsibilities for the business. Prior to joining Crede, Maureen served as a policy and claims administrator at ESM Financial and Risk Solutions. She also worked as a claims administrator for Primary Asset Administrative Services. Maureen started her career in the corporate finance sector as Assistant Accountant at 3 Way Marketing.

Giyani Mashimbye is the founder and managing partner of Alpha, a mining innovation focused investment firm. An economist by training, Giyani is a graduate of the world’s top-rated mining school, the Colorado School of Mines, USA. With extensive experience in mining, he was a Commercial Manager at Barrick Gold Corporation, the world’s second largest gold mining company, in their Africa and Middle East team, where he oversaw an annual $400m budget.


Giyani also worked for the mining-focused private equity firm Resource Capital Funds in the USA, and for Randgold Resources in the DRC. He has been involved in the development of numerous large projects, including roads, hydro-electric power projects and city developments.
